Better Home Improvements

Owners Jesse and Tori Rodriguez started Better Home Improvements in 2019 with a mission to help others make their house a home through renovation design, interior design and remodeling. Valuing honesty, integrity, transparency and relationship, they seek to put their clients best interests first. Believing you do not need to spend a fortune to fall in love with your home, they promise to offer budget friendly options without compromising in quality and finish.

The goal was to provide Better Home Improvements with a visual identity that felt professional, clean and classic enough to stand the test of time. Desiring to find a way to emphasize “better” without losing the emphasis of “home” proposed a challenge. We decided to stick with a logo mark, resembling a plus sign, communicating improvement or upgrade. The plus sign, commonly used as a symbol in health care, we found could also be used to our advantage speaking to the care as well as quality they offer their customers. By shifting the horizontal lines to diagonal, this created dimension, almost like walls of a home, and helped distinguish the logo mark from feeling overly medical.
